(Johnston, Iowa) – Monday’s episode of The Iowa Journal will feature Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Leonard Pitts. The program airs Monday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. It will be rebroadcast Friday, February 15 at 9:00 p.m. on statewide IPTV-Plus and will also be available online at Iptv.org.
Pitts writes for the Miami Herald and is considered one of the nation's most articulate observers of American culture. His interview touches on Iowa's role in the Obama phenomena, the efforts of black ministers to work with evangelists to quash gay marriage, and the nation's circumstances nearly seven years after 9/11.
