Republican Primary Gubernatorial Debate on IPTV

Iowa Public Television and The Des Moines Register Partner to Present "The Des Moines Register Debate: Republican Race for Governor" Thursday, May 20

Des Moines, IA– Iowa Public Television and The Des Moines Register will host a debate among candidates for the Republican nomination for Governor on Thursday, May 20, 2010. The debate will be from noon-1pm CDT.

Questions will be posed by a panel of journalists, including: The Des Moines Register’s political columnist Kathie Obradovich, Dean Borg, Host and Moderator of Iowa Public Television’s IOWA PRESS and O. Kay Henderson, Radio Iowa News Director.

In addition to the live broadcast on IPTV World (IPTV.3 and Mediacom channel 119), the debate will also be streamed live at DesMoinesRegister.com and iptv.org.  Both sites will also archive the debate. The debate will also be rebroadcast on Thursday, May 20 from 7-8 p.m. on statewide Iowa Public Television.

Republicans: Terry Branstad, Rod Roberts and Bob Vander Plaats
