WHO: The three candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for United States Senate are the guests on a one-hour edition of Iowa Press. Roxanne Conlin (D-Des Moines), Tom Fiegen (D-Clarence), and Bob Krause (D-Fairfield) are competing for the right to face Republican U.S. Senator Charles Grassley this fall. The three candidates will discuss their campaigns as the June 8 primary approaches.
This program will be broadcast Friday, May 28 from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 30 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The program will also be broadcast on IPTV WORLD (.3) Saturday at 9 a.m., and will be available online at www.iptv.org.
Joining the three candidates at the Iowa Press table are moderator Dean Borg, of Iowa Public Radio; Mike Glover, senior legislative and political reporter for the Associated Press; and Kay Henderson, news director for Radio Iowa.
