Learn
about jazz with Iowa Public Television
IPTV's
K-12 Connections project offered an interactive jazz
clinic in October of 2000. Bob Washut, Professor of Jazz Studies at the University
of Northern Iowa and other jazz artists from around the state
offered up their expertise to music students in Iowa via the
Iowa Communications Network. Students across the state were
able to play along with these professional musicians and learn about
improvisation and jazz music in general.
