Maybe that's because when I do story time
I rock the boat a little!

And when I do story time I like to think outside the box!

Sometimes when I do story time I learn something new,
like this awesome all-star karate chop!

But no time for karate chops! I needed to get on
the train for the Family Museum that afternoon!

Something wasn't quite right with a few of the kids there,
although I couldn't put my finger on it!

Nothing a little help from the Food Pyramid can't fix!

I met Puppy Girl and Puppy Boy!

I even met the amazing furry red monster Elmo!

But the highlights? Meeting the amazing mayor of Storm Lake and his wife!

And it was truly spectacular to share the stage
with the wonderful First Lady of Iowa, Mari Culver!

Never run with scissors, but really,
the true threat is running with lobsters!

Green and red blobs...

And even white ghost blobs! That is because it was raining all morning!
But even rain can't stop the fun at the Iowa State Fair!

Taping two yo-yos together does not create a yo-yo-yo-yo!

It's filled with princesses!
