Astronaut Peggy Whitson
Broadcast 11/15/02 Peggy Whitson, from Beaconsfield, is at a high point in her life and is getting ready to come down. She’s a biologist and astronaut aboard the International Space Station and will return after 5 months in space. Morgan Halgren interviewed her while she was orbiting over 200 miles up and Peggy shared her lofty perspectives on the earth, life in space and how here trip has affected us down-to-earth Iowans.
