The First Lady of Iowa
Broadcast 01/10/03 First Lady Christie Vilsack was a teacher for 28 years. Today the whole state is her classroom. Whether she’s at Terrace Hill, public libraries or schools, the First Lady is dedicated to making sure Iowans can read, sharing Iowa’s stories and helping its young people realize their potential.
