Dancing Shoes
Broadcast 08/15/03 When the members of The Quad Cities Mexican American Organization were in their teens, a night of dancing at the Col Ballroom was something they only dreamed about. Many could not afford the price of admission, and others were denied entrance because of the color of their skin. But, times have changed. Today, the Latino non-profit organization owns the Col, and has turned the iconic institution into a multi-cultural meeting place.
