Neil Smith National Wildlife Refuge
Broadcast 09/23/03 Storyline: From a distance a prairie may look like an abandoned pasture, so to really appreciate its natural beauty, we decided to get down and dirty deep inside the tall grasses and flowering plants. Throughout the year a prairie changes dramatically. We happened to be at the Neil Smith National Wildlife Refuge near Prairie City in late summer.
