Views from Space
(Program Close) Broadcast 10/03/03 On Peggy Whitson's first space walk, she was struck by the amazing clarity of everything she saw.
What she saw was also remarkable, a thin blue line along the horizon of the earth right before sunrise, fingers of light spreading across the globe, and views of earth and the space station that few will ever see with their own eyes. But we can at least get an idea from the images she shared with us.
