Reach for the Sky: A Special Teacher
Broadcast 10/24/03 Meet Hector Ibarra, a special 6th and 7th grade science teacher. Ibarra says if you teach children to solve problems, think critically and be creative you have taught them how to learn for a lifetime. That is what he does everyday, challenging West Branch's young people to think rather than memorize for a test. Ibarra and his students have received various recognitions over the years.
