Rural Midwest Photos: Glenn Cuerden
Broadcast 09/20/05 Since the 1960's Glenn Cuerden has captured moody photos of rural America. Born in Iowa, Cuerden grew up just east of the Mississippi River, in rural Nauvoo, Illinois. He's spent his adult life in the Denver, Colorado, area, and always takes his camera on his driving trips back to his Nauvoo homestead. Living in Iowa samples some of Cuerden's 4 decades of photos, including some haunting visions of a rural life that's come to an end.
