Special Olympics Volunteers

For the first time ever, the Special Olympics will hold a national event. And this first-time event is going to be held in Ames, Iowa July 2nd-7th, 2006.

Thousands of athletes, coaches, and family members will arrive for the event, but they won't be able to compete unless 8,000 Iowans volunteer to help out.

Living in Iowa listens as organizers and volunteers talk about the importance of this event, and the rewards of volunteering.
