The grain markets were little changed this week amid a week of light, market-moving news. For the week, wheat prices were three-quarters of a cent lower. Corn prices were a fraction to a penny lower. Soybean futures were fractionally higher. Soybean meal closed $4 lower per ton. Cotton futures were four cents higher.
In livestock, fed cattle futures were $1.27 lower. Feeder cattle were down 82-cents. The lean hog contract finished the week $2.30 lower.
In the financials, COMEX gold was unchanged. The Euro finished 64-basis points lower against the dollar. And the CRB index finished the week, two points lower to close at 191.75.
