The grain and oilseed markets finished the week with little enthusiasm. December wheat lost five and half cents. The December and March corn contracts finished nearly unchanged on the week. January beans closed down five and half cents. Meal lost $5.90 a ton. March cotton gained a dollar 30 a hundred weight.

In the livestock pits December cattle gained 27 cents on the week. January feeders closed 92 cents higher. December hogs finished 75 cents higher.

Metals and financial instruments closed in mixed fashion. COMEX gold lost a dollar on the week, but the Euro gained 185 basis points against the dollar and the CRB index closed 75 points higher.
