The grain markets finished the week under pressure from negative estimates provide by private analysts. For the week, wheat prices fell more than nine cents. Corn prices were closed two and a half to 3 and ½ cents lower. The November Soybean futures contract finished 7 cents higher. Soybean meal gained $2.60 per ton. Cotton futures managed to fall another 59 cents to near give away prices.

In the livestock sector, fed cattle futures closed a dollar-73 higher. Feeders fell fifty cents. And December hogs soared more than five dollars on the week.

In the financials, Comex gold closed nearly $3 an ounce higher. The Euro closed 121 basis points higher against the dollar. And, the CRB index finished the week unchanged.
