The Chicago grain markets finished the week mostly down. For the week, wheat prices were down a cent. The September corn contract closed down a cent, while the new crop, December, contract closed 7 cents lower. The new crop, November, soybean contract lost 4 and a quarter cents on the week. Soybean meal lost $9.20 per ton. Cotton closed a cent and a half lower.

In livestock, fed cattle futures were $3.30 lower. Feeder cattle finished 91-cents lower. The lean hog contract closed the week $1.32 lower.

For the week Comex gold $16.40 an ounce higher. The Euro finished the week 90 base points lower against the dollar. And the CRB index closed the week lower at 196.30
