The grain markets finished the week under pressure as the trade anticipates better yields in the grainbelt. For the week, wheat prices were down more than eight cents. Corn prices were down more than a nickel.

Soybean futures were down fifteen to sixteen cents. Soybean meal finished the week $4.50 lower per ton. Cotton futures closed a dime lower.

In livestock, fed cattle futures were 55-cents lower. Feeder cattle gained 90-cents. The lean hog contract gained $1.60.

In the financials, Comex gold was down $1.30 per ounce. The Euro lost 46-basis points against the dollar. And, the CRB index finished the week nearly two points lower to close at 199.50.
