The grain markets finished the week down after cool temperatures and some rainfall arrived in parched areas of the grain belt. For the week, wheat prices closed three cents lower. Corn prices closed more than six cents lower. Soybean futures were down nine to eleven cents. For the week, soybean meal finished thirty cents lower per ton. Cotton futures were down forty-one cents. In livestock, fed cattle futures were $1.30 higher. Feeder cattle closed the week $1.21 higher. The lean hog contract finished the week twenty cents lower. In the financials, COMEX gold gained $5.40 higher per ounce. The Euro closed 242-points higher against the dollar, and the CRB index finished the week more than four points higher to close at 205.
