The grain markets finished the week on the upside as the trade continues to be concerned about 2001 production. For the week, wheat prices gained a half-cent. Corn prices were more than two cents higher.

Soybean futures were more than 13 cents higher. Soybean meal gained $7.80 per ton.

Cotton futures were 68-cents lower.

In livestock, fed cattle futures were $1.93 higher. Feeder cattle were $1.65 higher. The lean hog contract finished 48-cents lower.

In the financials, Comex gold gained $19.50 an ounce. The Euro gained 34-basis points against the dollar. And, the CRB index finished the week four points higher to close at 218.75.
