The grain markets finished the week anemically higher during the holiday-shortened time period. Wheat prices closed than four cents higher. Corn futures were more than a penny higher. Soybeans futures were fractionally mixed. Soybean meal gained 90-cents per ton. Cotton futures were 47-cents lower.
In livestock, fed cattle futures $2.23 lower. Feeder cattle were a dime higher. The lean hog futures were 25-cents lower.
In the financials, COMEX gold gained a dime. The Euro finished more than 113-basis points lower against the dollar. And, the CRB index finished the week two points higher to close at 214.35.
