E. coli Oubreak in Upper Midwest

A suspected case of E. coli in southern Minnesota may be connected to a similar outbreak Cedar Falls, Iowa. The Minnesota Department of Health says three people said they ate at a Taco John's restaurant in Albert Lee, Minnesota between November 30th and December second. That is within the same time period associated with illnesses of people who at a Taco John's in Iowa.

At this point, the Minnesota Department of Health says there's no indication this outbreak is related to an E. coli outbreak at Taco Bell restaurants in the Northeast.
