A Trans-Atlantic Agreement to Help the Environment

posted on August 4, 2006

California and Great Britain have formally announced a trans-Atlantic partnership to combat global warming.

California Governor Arnold Scwharzenegger and Britain's Prime Minister Tony Blair decided to bypass the Bush Administration saying the president has not provided great leadership on global warming.

California is looking to cut carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases that scientists say are warming the planet.
