Droughts, floods, fickle crop prices. Don't worry -- it's just a game.
A Cushing, Minnesota woman and her brother have created "Life on the Farm". Players begin as farmers who've inherited a farm and $10,000, but no livestock. The goal is to obtain and maintain a herd. Players are faced with pitfalls such as pricing woes, and natural disasters. The first farmer to retire wins.
The game has been given the national teacher's choice award.
