Minnesota Furthers Support Of Renewable Fuels

posted on April 29, 2005

The Minnesota Senate unanimously approved a bill this week that would require state agencies to use less gasoline and more renewable fuels like ethanol and biodiesel. If the bill becomes law, gasoline use would be cut in half by 2015. The measure also requires more fuel efficiency from new state vehicles; 20 mile per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway
