Viva La Cattle Sales.
The first shipment of Florida-born cattle to Cuba in more than 40 years will take place early next year.
It's part of a new agreement between the J.P. Wright Cattle Company and the Cuban government. Cuba has agreed to buy some $450,000 worth of beef cattle from Florida ranchers.
The agreement follows the first shipment to Cuba of dairy cattle from other states through Florida ports earlier this summer.
