Chocolate. The darker the better ... for your health!
European researchers found subjects who ate dark chocolate had a temporary increase in antioxidant levels in the bloodstream... which is said to decrease LDLs, also called the "bad cholesterol".
But don't drink milk at the same time, because it somehow discourages the body's ability to absorb the protective compounds in chocolate.
The study, published in the journal Nature, also says the health benefits were not seen by those who consumed white or milk chocolate.
