It's Aussie obesity.
While 65% of adult Americans are considered overweight … we hold only a slight lead over Australia. A medical study in Australia says 60% of the Aussies are either overweight or obese … double the rate of two decades ago.
A survey of more than 11,000 adults showed 48.2 % of the men were overweight and 19.3% were obese. For women, 29.9% were overweight while 20.9% were considered obese.
The Australian researchers blame the weight problem on too much fast food and television.
