Berry good news for organic.

A study at the University of California at Davis says organically or sustainably grown berries and corn contain up to 58% more polyphenolics – which are natural antioxidants.

The research, published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, suggests that insecticides and herbicides may reduce the plant's production of polyphenolics.

Studies show that eating a diet rich in fruit and vegetables high in polyphenolics can reduce the risk of some cancers and heart disease.
