Good Fat vs Bad Fat

Some of that fat may not be as bad as we thought.

A study in the February issue of the Archives of Neurology indicates a heart healthy diet may also assist in preventing Alzheimer's disease.

The study looked at the types of fat 815 Chicago residents ate over a four year period. When the study was completed a possible link was established between the intake of certain kinds of saturated fat and the 131 residents who developed the debilitating brain disease.

Scientists reviewing the new study believe more research is necessary.
