Today, the cows compose the prose.
A New York college art student painted single words on the flanks of sixty cows on a dairy farm in the Catskills. The bovine prose is created by their proximity to each other in the field.
Some of the phrases formed by the Holsteins and Jerseys included: "Experience farm music", "Organic moving energy", and "Eccentric art".
One animal seemed especially inspired by her assigned word. With "away" on her side, she broke loose from the herd for a while.
