Foghorn Leghorn Impersonator: "I say boy, put some clothes on before ‘ya catch a cold…"

An Israeli geneticist has crossbred a small, bare skinned bird with a chicken in hopes of developing succulent, low-fat poultry.

The birds may look a little strange, but their developer claims the lack of feathers actually keeps them cooler and leaner than their traditional cousins.

The geneticist from Israel's Hebrew University claims the birds' growth rates are better than those of feathered fowl and he's optimistic that featherless chickens could revolutionize the poultry business.
