With the Hispanic population in the U.S. expected to increase 200% in the next fifty years, food producers see opportunity.

According to an International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association report, Hispanic consumers eat flour tortillas more than three times a week. Sixty percent say they would like their supermarkets to produce fresh tortillas on the premises.

The report also showed that 84% of the Hispanic consumers buy bakery items from the supermarket bread aisles.

Currently, the 30,000,000 Hispanic consumers in the U.S. spend $390 billion per year on all products and services.<
