Getting Breakfast Without A Plate

posted on November 17, 2000

Too busy for breakfast?

A national eating trends study says both kids and adults miss breakfast more often than they did five years ago. Busy mothers cite lack of time as the major obstacle to fixing breakfast.

Not missing a marketing opportunity to feed those with little time, Kellogg is introducing Eggo Waf-fulls. The company describes the breakfast treat as an "all-in-one" waffle with a layer of maple or fruit-like filling on the inside.

Along with being quick and easy to fix, the company boasts there are no dishes to do … as the innovative design puts the filling inside the food item.
