MOVE OVER BETTY CROCKER, UNCLE SAM HAS A FEW RECIPES OF HIS OWN.

IN AN ATTEMPT TO IMPROVE THE EATING HABITS OF LOW-INCOME FAMILIES, THE GOVERNMENT IS RELEASING A COOKBOOK DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF AMERICA'S POOR.

THE AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT CLAIMS ITS 75-PAGE COOKBOOK IS FULL OF INEXPENSIVE, EASY-TO-FOLLOW RECIPES AS WELL AS A SUGGESTED GROCERY SHOPPING LIST AND TIPS ON REDUCING FOOD COSTS.

THE COOKBOOK IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE AND THERE'S JUST ONE CATCH... THE POOR WILL HAVE TO PAY MORE THAN $4.00 FOR UNCLE SAM'S ADVICE ON HOW TO EAT MORE COST EFFECTIVELY.
