SCALPEL, FORCEPS, CHITTLINS...

SCIENTISTS AT PURDUE UNIVERSITY HAVE DEVELOPED A NEW BAND-AID USING THE SKIN HEALING PROPERTIES OF HOG INTESTINES. AFTER DISCOVERING THE CURATIVE POWERS OF THE PORCINE ORGANS IN THE EARLY 1980s THE SEARCH WAS ON FOR A WAY TO REFINE THE PRODUCT.

RESEARCHERS HAVE NOW ISOLATED THE MEDICINAL PART OF THE INTESTINES CELLULAR MATRIX AND CREATED A PARCHMENT-LIKE PRODUCT THAT PROMOTES HEALING.

THE HIGH-TECH CHITTLINS ARE CURRENTLY BEING USED TO TREAT BOTH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL WOUNDS.
