The e-commerce juggernaut Amazon is reviewing their list of 238 potential homes for a second North American headquarters dubbed H-Q-2.

You can buy almost anything on the site, except airplanes and other long-lasting durable goods. --

Orders for those items jumped 2.2 percent in September, signaling a rebound in manufacturing.

New home sales surged to their highest level in a decade as Americans unable to find existing homes are turning to new construction. The Commerce Department pegged the transactions up 18.9 percent.

GDP, the output of goods and services, helped push the U.S. economy up three percent in the third quarter.  The advance followed a similar improvement in the previous quarter, the best back-to-back performance since 2014.
