The U.S. economy has been showing signs of recovery with more people off the unemployment line and a strengthening dollar. However, there are trade-offs. --

Wages for non-farm jobs have been stagnant over the past 12 months.

Annual inflation is below 2 percent – the baseline Fed officials consult for raising interest rates.

And the stronger U.S. dollar has made raw agricultural commodities more expensive and less attractive to foreign buyers. --
