November 30, 2018 Economic Outlook

Nov 29, 2018  | Ep4415

The economic indicators were a taste battle between sweet and sour this week. ---

Crude Oil entered Friday poised to drop for the eighth straight week and end November as the worst performing month since the Great Recession.

Sales of new homes plummeted in October by 8.9 percent as the number of listings sitting on the market climbed to its highest level since October of 2009.

Even the number of people signing contracts to purchase homes fell last month as higher mortgage rates dampened enthusiasm among would-be buyers.

However, fewer interest rate hikes may be on the way in 2019. The Federal Reserve chair’s neutral comments were seen as a positive in the stock market.
