Description |
I created a laminated poster of a large spider web with subjects and topics we're studying in each section. Students wrote web addresses of sites they used on sticky notes. By posting their notes in the section, they shared their learning with each other. We kept it up for future knowledge and referred to it often, adding to it as the year progressed. Often students would take a post it to write the address in their own personal learning log.

Reflection |
It worked well. It got students to utilize the web for learning because many of the sites were "how to." Their learning and curiosity went beyond the stated curriculum. They shared with each others as "experts" using more technical language. My students took more resposibility for their own leaning without knowing it!
