Globe Trekker

Chile and Easter Island (#115)

Ian's journey down the length of Chile, which encompasses nearly 3, 000 miles of stunning countryside, takes him from the driest desert in the world to the southernmost point before the Antarctic Ocean. In Temuco, he visits the Mapuche Indians who still struggle to retain their language and identity. He enters Patagonia - penguin country-with its brutal chill factor and astounding natural beauty. Two thousand miles west of Santiago, Ian's journey ends on Easter Island, the most remote inhabited place on earth. [56 minutes] Closed Captioning
