Globe Trekker

Iceland and Greenland (#123)

Ian's journey to the Arctic takes him through the volcanic landscapes of Iceland and the frozen wilderness of Greenland. Beginning in Reykjav?k, the capital of Iceland, Ian joins the crew of a replica Viking ship to learn about Iceland's history and Viking ancestry. Then, Ian hitches a lift to the natural wonders of the Gulfoss, a 32-meter waterfall, and Geysir, where boiling water shoots 20 meters into the air every three minutes. In Greenland, Ian visits a reindeer farm, a primary source of food for the area.
