Globe Trekker

The American Rockies (#125)

Ian sets out on a journey to find out how the West was really won. He begins in the badlands of South Dakota, learning the history and culture of the Lakota Indians on the Pine Ridge reservation. After spending a night in a teepee, Ian heads for the Black Hills to explore the endless caverns that make up the Wind Caves. Near Wyoming, he hears Wild West stories from a local cowboy before joining a group of Harley Davidson bikers - who stop at Little Bighorn where General Custer fell - on the road to Jackson Hole, Montana. Ian's travels also take him to Yellowstone and Glacier national parks. [57 minutes] Closed Captioning
