Globe Trekker

Peru (#211)

Neil starts his trek in Lima, then travels by coach to the Andean city of Huaraz, the center for trekking and mountaineering in Peru. He journeys on the Amazon River to the jungle city of Iquitos where he explores the rain-forest wildlife. He then flies over Nazca to Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, and he celebrates the potato harvest on the island of Taquile. Neil ends his trip in Cuzco, the ancient Inca capital, enjoys the summer solstice festival of Inti Raymi and treks the famous Inca trail to Macchu Picchu. [57 minutes] Closed Captioning
