Trumbo (#2205)

In 1947, Dalton Trumbo refused to testify before the House Un-American Activities Committee, was convicted for contempt, and spent 11 months in federal prison. He also lost all right to ply his craft, so he wrote 30 scripts under pseudonyms. [86 minutes] TV-PG Closed Captioning

Consisting of more than 250 hours of programming to date, AMERICAN MASTERS is a growing film library documenting the role important individuals, groups, and movements have played in the formation of our cultural identity.
