From Burlington to Sioux City, great architecture is everywhere you look. This documentary captures the details and drama of some of the finest buildings in the world, located right here in Iowa. Iowa Public Television uses the Iowa Chapter of the American Institute of Archietcts' list of Iowa's “50 Most Significant Buildings of the 20th Century” as an opportunity to discover the history of our state in the faces of our buildings. But more than that, this documentary talks with those who design and appreciate buildings to find out why Iowans have reason to be proud of the outstanding structures they see every day.
