Crossroads Café

Outside Looking In (#120)

In this episode Rosa is asked by her business school teacher to assist him in negotiating with potential investors who only speak Spanish. The negotiations take place during a party made up of high society types and Rosa feels out of place. She gets the impression that her teacher is beginning to care for her after he asks her out on a few dates. In the end the teacher's business deal materializes and he leaves to run his international restaurant chain in Switzerland. Simultaneously, Brashov's landlord leaves his snooty young son at the cafe to see how a real business operates. The boy is very disruptive until Henry and Jamal teach the boy to play soccer and how to be a regular kid. The episode ends with Katherine accepting her boyfriend's proposal of marriage. The "Word Play" segment demonstrates how to give advice using the word "should". The "Culture Clips" segment presents opinions of people from around the world on raising children.
