Asian, Henry Chang, delivery person and waiter at Crossroads Cafe, and his Caucasian girlfriend tell their respective families that they are going steady. Cafe owner, Victor Brashov, must deal with his new neighbor, a woman who is opening a laundromat. The "Word Play" segment demonstrates how to express likes and dislikes. The "Culture Clips" segment presents couples who have faced the obstacles in intercultural relationships.

Program Description: This English language learner (ELL) series blends comedy and drama to teach English to speakers of other languages. The stories feature characters whose lives intersect at Crossroad Café, a neighborhood restaurant, where together they experience the struggles, conflicts, joys and victories of everyday life.
