The six-part series, hosted by Queer Eye for the Straight Guy's Ted Allen, explores one of the world's most storied beverages, while winemakers and grape growers in France and California explain wine's unique journey from grape to glass. Designed to appeal to the novice and wine connoisseur alike, the series presents basics like wine terminology, popular grape varieties and tips for reading a wine label. In addition, some of the world's top chefs, wine writers and educators discuss the winemaking process as well as tasting, buying and pairing wine.
