The White House, Women, and the November Elections: With less than two weeks to go before the mid-term elections, the White House released a report detailing its policies to help women survive the recession. From 'Mean Girls' to "Mean Women": With more women running for office this election season, some experts are asking: do women have to be mean to win?

The Women's Bureau: Created in 1920, the Women's Bureau is the only federal agency exclusively serving and promoting the interests of working women. Its new director, Sara Manzano-Diaz, discusses women's progress in the workforce.
